Are you looking for a professional who can translate for you? You're in the right place! We will evaluate together whether you need an interpreter or a translator.

If you are participating in a formal event, bilateral meeting, or a conference, or you will take part in a trade fair abroad where participants will speak Italian and Spanish and you want me there to translate what is said, you’re looking for me, “La Cavalli, the interpreter.”

But if you need a written translation of various kinds of text, you need me, “La Cavalli, the translator.”

Interpreting and translation Spanish to Italian

Great! A few things to know:
  • I interpret from Spanish to Italian and from Italian to Spanish.
  • We can choose different types of interpreting based on the number of people needing translation, the context of the event, how long it lasts, and the languages involved.
  • I can’t wait to pack my bags! Do you need to organize an event with a Spanish-speaking audience? Are you coming from Spain or Latin America to attend an international trade fair in Italy? Are you planning online meetings with your Latin American partners? I can take a train or a plane and join you at the site of the event, accompany you on your work trips abroad, or stay home a interpret remotely.
Interpreting between two sister languages like Spanish and Italian might seem like an easy matter. But it sure isn’t (it’s not just about adding or subtracting an -s). Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world but it is not spoken the same everywhere. Depending on whether I am interpreting for a Spaniard from Madrid, someone from southern Spain, an Argentine, or a Mexican, I have to handle different pronunciations, speed of speech, vocabulary, verbs, and personal pronouns. Not only are there many varieties of Spanish, they are often more conservative than Italian. In Italian, we have borrowed English words like computer but in Spain and Latin America, they chose to coin the words ordenador and computadora, respectively.
This is true as well for film titles that are often adapted. For example, the movie Grease becomes Vaselina, and Fast and Furious becomes A todo gas. Improvising a translation in Spanish or Italian “because they must say it the same way anyhow” can be very risky and undermine your credibility. If you’re holding a cooking demonstration on pastry cooking and translate the Italian word burro (which means “butter”) with burro to a Spanish-speaking audience, you’ve just said “donkey”. Barely communicating in a foreign language is as good as not communicating at all. Take a load off your shoulders by relying on a professional interpreter. I’ll make sure your message gets through clearly, accurately, and effectively.
