THE ENCOUNTER OF ENCOUNTERS
Interpreting at an international restorative justice meeting at the Catholic University of Milan
The first project I want to tell you about was with Claudia Mazzucato, Associate Professor of Criminal Law at the Catholic University of Milan.
This was one of my beloved projects because we let people dialogue who were both divided and united by suffering: as victims and perpetrators of armed conflict and political violence. Each of them was able to face their “difficult other” – to use Claudia's expression – reflect on their own stories and share their thoughts about it.

Interpreting during the accreditation process of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Teramo
The second project was with Francesca Vaccarelli, Associate Professor of English Language and Translation at the University of Teramo.
This was one of my beloved projects because, after no less than two visits by the European EAEVE Commission, I saw the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine achieve its goal of being recognized as an accredited faculty according to European standards.
